Frequently Asked Questions – ARTS
ARTS (Ammonia Refrigeration Training Solutions) is dedicated to the advancement of Ammonia Refrigeration Operator Training and Ammonia PSM/RMP compliance. We strive for clear, concise, effective training. Industrial operators, mechanics, technicians, engineers, and safety professionals represent our largest category of pupils. As a result, the industrial food industry is our world. Ammonia safety is our number one priority. Our goal is that each and every course and service we offer that it is the best you have ever received. Some of our services include onsite training, on line training, PSM compliance evaluations, ammonia refrigeration best practice evaluations, and certification testing.
When was ARTS established?
Ammonia Refrigeration Training Solutions was established in 2021.
What type of training do you provide?
We provide numerous industrial training courses and classes through onsite or online opportunities.
Why type of services do you provide?
ARTS is a full compliance service provider helping the industry from audits to SOP reviews.
Class dress attire?
Depending on location for course dress attire will be on a case by case basis. ARTS and students will follow all hosting companies GMPs and PPEs while on facility grounds. As for the classroom itself please dress layered and casual comfort with full covered shoes.
Class start time?
Most all classes will start promptly at 8:00 am and tentatively close out at 5:00 pm each day. Feel free to come in early each morning for coffee, questions, and discussions. Confirm start time on your registration, with your supervisor, or give us a call today.
ARTS Certifications
All ARTS courses (in person or online) will include relevant certification examination. If one does not want to take the associated class, certification exams can be attempted. Register for an ARTS certification exam at this link.
How do I get a copy of my ARTS certificate / certification / card?
We must confirm your credential and identity. Please see this link form to start your process?
Certification Renewal?
Individual certifications issued by ARTS are only active within a three-year time period from the date listed on credential and are only supported when active. You can keep your active or renew you certification by any of the following:
- Successfully continuing your education with another ARTS course
- $245 fee if renewed within 3 years (current credentials must not be expired)
- If expired, knowledge exam must be taken at an administrative fee of $485

When will I receive my certificate / certification?
Within 30 business days after completing course, renewal process is complete, or the course is paid for.
