Certified Refrigeration Service Tech → RETA CRST → IIAR

The Certified Refrigeration Service Tech (CRST) is designed for technicians and support personnel who troubleshoot and maintain industrial refrigeration plants and facilities. The credential addresses topics from advanced levels include plant safety, operations, inspections, testing, and maintenance. A good technician is both a mechanic and operator all in one. Ammonia Operator 3 / Technician One class is for lead operators and key management in engineering, maintenance, and operations of the ammonia refrigeration system. Best practices, RAGAGEP, design requirements, and ITM requirements are the core focus of the class. Depending on which institute conducts this class, participants may not need ammonia operator 1 and 2 as a prerequisite.
