Requested Experience / Education
Must have a High School Diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from an accredited institution and 2 – 3 years of experience in a meat processing facility or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must obtain Ammonia OP1/OP2/OP3 (TECH 1)/PSM certifications and maintain them, renewed every three (3) years. CIRO- Certified Industrial Refrigeration Operator preferred and renewed yearly after having 2 years of machine room experience, requires 25 CEU every three (3) years. CRES – Certified Refrigeration Energy Specialist or ability to obtain.
Salary and Benefits
$69,500-$89,800 salary. Medical, dental, and life insurance. 15 days PTO a year.
Job Description Overview
This role directly supervises 2-3 staff members focused exclusively on maintaining an ammonia refrigeration system. The refrigeration Supervisor ensures that all refrigeration activities and operations are conducted promptly and fluidly and that all facility systems are appropriately functioning.
