Introduction to NH3 Refrigeration: Hands-On Learning and Industry Insights

Building knowledge and strengthening industry connections!Our team recently had the opportunity to participate in an Introduction to NH3 (Ammonia) Refrigeration session, gaining valuable insight into the equipment, systems, and operating principles behind industrial refrigeration.

During the visit, participants explored major refrigeration components, including compressors, vessels, piping, valves, and automated control systems. The walkthrough provided an opportunity to see how these components work together and to learn more about system operation, maintenance, and safety.

A key part of the experience was learning directly from industry professionals, asking questions, and gaining a better understanding of the importance of proper procedures when working around industrial ammonia refrigeration equipment.
