Requested Experience / Education
Safety First: A strong commitment to performing daily duties with safety as your top priority. Minimum 3 years of experience in ammonia refrigeration system installation, maintenance, and repair. Skilled in preventative maintenance and Process Safety Management (PSM) solutions. Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical components and systems. Proficient in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and schematics. Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Keen attention to detail for accurate process following. Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Computer and iPad proficiency for electronic documentation. Independent and collaborative work abilities. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Refrigerating Engineers & Technicians Association (RETA) Certification or equivalent. EPA Universal Refrigerant certification is a plus. Ability to undergo a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) and use a full-face respirator. Personal hand-tools (power and specialty tools provided by the company).
Salary and Benefits
$25-$55/HR
Job Description Overview
Responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial refrigeration systems using ammonia as a refrigerant. Key responsibilities include conducting routine inspections, performing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting malfunctions in compressors, condensers ,evaporators and control systems.
